4. What is the best time to have a 3D/4D Ultrasound?
We offer services for pregnancy stages 12-36 weeks. You can see various stages of your baby’s development at different weeks. Any time is good to see the real live image of your baby!
You may have several sessions during your pregnancy, which will give you an opportunity to watch your baby grow and develop. However, if you are planning on seeing your baby in 3D/4D just once this pregnancy, we recommend that you schedule your appointment between 22 and 28 weeks due to that fact that your baby's facial features are developed during this time and there is a lot to see since your little one has ample space to move around and perform! This is the stage where we usually can see the baby yawn,blink, smile, stretch and give us a thumbs up.

Our Sonographers are highly trained to perform 3D/4D Ultrasound.
Here are some factors that affect the quality of the pictures:

Fetal position – the way your baby is located in the womb. It may be difficult to obtain images of the face if the baby is constantly looking down, or the face is covered by placenta, uterine wall or your baby's hands or feet.

Maternal Body Features - sometimes ultrasound waves are unable to penetrate through the abdominal tissue which causes poor image quality. We recommend for heavyset mothers to have 3D/4D Ultrasound after 24 weeks of pregnancy.
•
Fetal Activity - it is very difficult to obtain high quality images while the baby is in constant motion.
In any case- you will enjoy the time with your baby. We, on our part, will do our very best to deliver the best possible results to you.
All of our packages feature a complimentary repeat session if the baby is not in a favorable position.
6. What is the preparation process before the Ultrasound Scan?
We ask you to drink two cups of water 30 minutes prior to the exam. Your bladder should be slightly filled in order to make it possible to obtain better images. Please, bring your choice of a juice or a sweet beverage to drink during the session and stay away from all sweet foods and drinks for one hour prior to coming in.
Further, you could improve the quality of the images by having plenty of water throughout your pregnancy, which in turn will bring up the level of amniotic fluid.
You are welcome to bring up to 6 guests to share this wonderful experience with. You may bring your children, but we ask you to have another adult come along to care for them, so that you and your guests may enjoy uninterrupted viewing during your Ultrasound session.

11. Does medical insurance cover elective 3D/4D Ultrasound scans? Medical insurance does not cover elective Ultrasound scans at this time. We accept all major credit cards and cash.
12. What is the earliest time that my baby’s gender can be determined?
Gestational age for gender determination is 16 weeks (4 months) We can attempt to determine the gender as early as 12 weeks of pregnancy, however the accuracy is 85% prior to 16 weeks.
